Malkom has put into operation an advanced Certification and Personalization Center (CPC) for the Central Management Board of the National Prison Service which is based on authorial software package QR-CERT. CPC carries out public key infrastructure (PKI) services and handles a full cycle of personalization and safe distribution of cryptographic cards designated for officers of the National Prison Service of all units.

MALKOM has performed an upgrade of the eInspektor system for the National Competition and Consumers Protection Service ( UOKiK ). The upgrade included a GIS module responsible for visualization of objects on the map ( using MapInfo technology ), as well as a module handling reports in JAVA application server environment. After the upgrade eInspektor will allow UOKiK to better fulfill their duties resulting from law changes in the scope of fuel quality control in Poland.

We are pleased to inform you that thanks to participants' votes on the fourth PKI/Smart Cards GigaCon Conference, our product QR CERT has been acknowledged with the main award "Złoty Bit" (Golden Bit) for the best product presented on the conference. QR CERT, developed by our company, is a comprehensive system for creating PKI infrastructure. Hereby we give thanks to all conference paricipants for the trust they have given us.

Malcom will take active part in the current edition of the conference devoted to PKI, microprocessor cards and electronic transactions. Our company will demonstrate own solution for creating public key infrastructure, based on our product QR CERT.

Malkom, in consortium with S&T Services Poland, signed an agreement with the National Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PFRON). The agreement covers expansion of server cluster operating in the Warsaw HQ of PFRON, which uses HP software and hardware. Two nodes, based on HP Integrity rx8640 multiprocessor servers and UNIX operating system, will be added, activated, and configured. Moreover the consortium will deliver a disk array with fifty six 300GB hard drives, together with the proper software.

In result to the signed agreement Malkom has become a partner of the National Association of Implicit Information Protection in organizing the Enterprise Forum on the subject of "Information Security in Business". The forum will take place in Ryni (nearby Warsaw) on the 19th and 20th of november 2007.

MALKOM signed an agreement and became a sponsor of the International ISSE/SECURE 2007 Conference, planned to take place in Warsaw on the 25-27 of September. They main organizer of the conference, which is devoted to IT security and safety, is the European ISSE Organization (Information Security Solutions Europe), created in 1999 by the European Commission.

On the 18th of June 2007 MALKOM, together with IBM Poland, carried out a seminar for clients from the public administration sector and financial services. The main theme was the implementation of MALKOM and Lotus Domino/Notes products to build safe electronic mail.
